  1. I don't know about you, but I'd like to see more tap water data from Berkeley. If you want this too, please leave a comment on their forum. It says they will test more tap water if enough of the public shows interest.

  2. Amazing. I found this link on NHK's website. OMG, it actually gives daily reading from the plant. It's easy to follow and you can see when they had big releases. You have to click the NEXT tab, under each date, in order to see the air readings.

  3. Great link, WNT. I just reposted it to the HP thread.

Hello everyone. Note that there has been another HP reincarnation this morning...Low and Behold.

  4. Low and Behold has been banned.

“Eric I got banned for responding to this one, lol!~ There are mad Hilary sympathizers here @ the Post. She looks tired because of the wikileaks nonsense. She has had to put out more fires than smokey the bear!”

  6. is anyone here ???? I have a question

  7. curiouser and curiouser if you ask me, Winston

I have to confess that I am uncomfortable discussing things here, where anyone can see it, so I, for one, am going to mostly keep my opinions to myself here... for now....

I'll check in, of course, staying in neutral gear. :)

  8. carpe, we tend to move back and forth between browser tabs, so if you want to post your question, people are apt to respond in time....

Susanne, I completely know what you mean, about the exposure of this discussion on the web. It is too bad we can't have some sort of password protected space, although I know that would have headaches too. This kind of forum is probably the best we can do.

  9. hi g,

Did you see the curious phenomena of the very brief HP life of "Low and Behold" this morning?

  10. Susanne,

How do I use that trash can thing?
    I hate sounding illiterate, but I guess I am. : )

    ReplyDelete
  11. G. it should be to he bottom right of your comment, it is only there for a short while for me (Mac computer and Firefox here)...

I am unable to delete older comments, which bothers me

    ReplyDelete
  12. I have never had the trash can. I have to log in with Word Press, and I have to do it for each comment (annoying). So I think whether or not you get the trash can may depend on what kind of account log-in you use. That's my guess.

  13. Winston, there is another way.. there is a forum which is protected, you need password, you can only join, view and take part if accepted, costs 3 bucks per month for up to 125 members... am willing to spring for it.

(I am familiar with it because it was used for a training class I was part of last year)

    info will come in email...

    G. do you still have my email address? or Winston's? AD's?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Susanne:

I just worry a bit about the headaches of verifying who is accepted and who might be a "mole" claiming to be a familiar HP poster but in fact being someone else entirely. No system is perfect.

  16. Winston, it is only by invite right now... I've set it up, first month is free, if it doesn't work, no problem..

  17. Should be ready to go by late this afternoon...EST

  18. Susanne:

    Great!

FYI, I used the contact us link to share with HP community folks the admission by the rabbit that it is a sock for a banned persona. We'll see if anything comes of it.

  19. Good job, Susanne.

I am open to paying for a protected forum.

    Winston.
I'm using google and am also having to log in each time.

We need a way to all stay in touch if HP or even the web goes down. Any ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Susanne,
I will have to go to the network this evening.
    Any problem with that?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Susanne,

Thanks, I took a cautious approach with seachange. I didn't want to post anyone's email at HP or the URL for this site, but I left him/her a message suggesting the he/she touch base with WNT.

I think it might make sense to bring new members in here, then figure out a way to exchange email info, then bring them along to your new protected space.

On another note, I just noticed that a large number of the HP comments I made last evening have been methodically scrubbed.

  23. Great Winston. Sorry about your deleted posts! :)

  24. Susanne,

I am just grateful that my account remains intact, given all the recent carnage.

  25. The trash can is gone for me too. Something must be wrong with google blogs. I will investigate.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Never mind, the trash can is back, now that I posted my first comment of the day.

    ReplyDelete
  27. If you have a post you'd like me to delete and you can't use the trash can, let me know the date and time of your post and I will delete it.
